Countersunk head carpentry wood screw
Countersunk head carpentry wood screwr, which reduces the torque required for installation. This directly translates to faster assembly, less force consumption, and savings on electric tools used for screwing.
The design of the carpentry screws is specifically engineered to facilitate implementation in wooden substrates. The initial sharp tip aids in driving the screw and prevents wood from splitting, while the cutting notches on the thread are responsible for cutting through the wood structure. The reaming cutter evacuates shavings and contributes to widening the hole around the head. The notches located under the head prepare the surface for complete flush mounting of the head with the wood plane.
The TX drive socket ensures stable installation.
Professional construction screws possess technical approvals and distinct manufacturer features on the head, allowing for identification even after installation. Safe construction screws are those coated with an anti-corrosive layer. Electro-galvanized screws can only be used in dry environments. For applications in areas exposed to high humidity or direct contact with external environments, specially galvanized screws—hot-dip galvanized or made from stainless steel—are intended.
Screws with a countersunk head are used in connections where it is important for the screw head to be flush with the surface of the element being fastened. Such screws are ideal for mounting finishing layers to walls.
Dimensions not covered by CE marking cannot be used in construction.
