Main features
Additional use of screws with a diameter of 3.5 - 4.5 mm is necessary
Aesthetic appearance of the fixing due to the special geometry of the plug
No need for pre-drilling in a thin layer of plaster allows for shorter installation times
Possible increase in load-bearing capacity by using an additional chemical component
Universal use for all types of insulating materials
Advantages
The use of standard screws with a diameter of 4.5 - 6 mm allows for universal use.
Thanks to the special tip, the plug is screwed into plaster up to 10 mm thick without pre-drilling.
Maximum durability and resistance of the plug thanks to the glass fibre reinforced plastic.
The additional use of a chemical component such as fischer Fill&Fix or PU foam can significantly increase the load-bearing capacity.
The FID II can be easily screwed in using the standard TX 40 bit.
The fischer FID II plug allows for universal use in all common insulating materials.
The FID II insulation plug is suitable for attaching lightweight components to external thermal insulation composite systems ETICS. Thanks to the combined centring, milling and cutting function, the FID II plug tip can be screwed in with the highest precision. The small head diameter in combination with the milling pockets under the plug head ensure an aesthetically pleasing seating effect. The FID II is particularly suitable for attaching lightweight components such as external lights, house numbers or doorbells.
