For professional processing of stainless steel welds. Four different degrees of fineness cover the entire processing spectrum from levelling an existing grinding pattern to finishing. The silicon carbide abrasive grain is bonded to the polyamide fleece by synthetic resin.

Applications of the MFW 600 discs
The high-performance abrasive fleece disc is designed for use in fillet weld grinders. The best processing results are achieved in the medium speed range, i.e. at 5,000 - 7,500 rpm. Especially when processing stainless steel, e.g. in the tank and container industry, these tools are used both for finishing and for removing minor surface defects. They are also popular for matting and satin finishing.

Very good grinding results on stainless steel
Proper grinding is always achieved by the abrasive grain. The right choice of grain is therefore crucial for a good machining result. Both the hardness and, on the other hand, the strength of the grain are important. Since Klingspor only uses synthetically produced grain, its quality does not change. The high-performance MFW 600 abrasive fleece discs use abrasive grain made of silicon carbide (SiC). Silicon carbide is very hard but has moderate strength. The silicon carbide crystals have sharp edges and are brittle. As a result, they break quickly, so their wear cannot be ignored. Thanks to the open structure of these grinding wheels, they do not become clogged with abrasive. The flexibility of the grinding wheels ensures that they adapt to the surface profile of the workpiece. The result is high cutting efficiency and nice surface appearance.
